Benedict Cumberbatch is truly one of the most brilliant actors working in television and films today. Aside from starring in the BBC’s Sherlock, Cumberbatch had turned strong performances in Steven Spielberg’s War Horse, and Star Trek Into Darkness. He is also receiving great reviews for his portrayal of Julian Assange, the founder Wikileaks, in The Fifth Estate which opens in theaters on October 18, 2013. Cumberbatch will next star alongside Academy Award winners Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts in August: Osage Count.

We spoke to Cumberbatch, who told us about the character he plays, and how in awe he was working with the iconic cast, mainly the great Meryl Streep.
